WEB3
As a 3D Technical Artist at Candy Digital, I played a key role in producing high-quality digital collectibles in the evolving NFT space. My work involved creating and optimizing 3D assets, developing efficient workflows, and ensuring that each project met the artistic and technical standards required for top-tier digital collectibles.
WWE - The Undertaker
As part of Candy Digital’s WWE Undertaker NFT project, I was responsible for a wide range of technical and artistic contributions that brought this legendary moment to life in a high-fidelity digital collectible.
My role encompassed environment and card modeling, ensuring that every detail—from textures to form—captured the larger-than-life presence of The Undertaker. I developed custom shaders, lighting setups, and volumetric effects to enhance the dramatic atmosphere, evoking the mystique and intensity associated with one of WWE’s most iconic superstars.
In addition, I handled rigging and animation, bringing motion to key elements to create an engaging and immersive final presentation. My work extended into compositing, where I refined the rendered visuals, integrating all elements into a polished, cinematic final product.
This project required a combination of technical problem-solving and artistic vision, pushing the limits of real-time rendering and high-quality asset production in the NFT space.
NASCAR Digi-Cast
For Candy Digital’s NASCAR Digi-Cast NFT series, I was responsible for accurately recreating a variety of authentic car liveries using Substance Painter. Each design required meticulous attention to detail to ensure that the digital collectibles matched their real-world counterparts with precision.
Working with high-resolution textures, I focused on material accuracy, branding placement, and weathering effects to bring each NASCAR vehicle to life. This process involved balancing realism with optimized performance, ensuring the assets maintained a high level of fidelity while being suitable for real-time rendering.
By leveraging Substance Painter’s powerful texturing tools, I was able to deliver hyper-detailed, photorealistic liveries, preserving the excitement and authenticity of NASCAR in a fully digital format.
NASCAR Richard Petty
For Candy Digital’s Richard Petty NFT series, I worked on transforming historic photographs from his legendary career into immersive digital collectibles with a dynamic parallax effect.
This process involved masking out key elements in 3D to create layers of depth, allowing each scene to move with a sense of dimensionality. I then hand-keyframed movement animations, carefully crafting subtle yet impactful motion to bring the moments to life while maintaining the integrity of the original images.
Once the animations were finalized, I handled compositing, integrating all elements into the final video presentation. This project blended historical preservation with modern digital artistry, capturing the essence of Richard Petty’s legacy in a visually engaging NFT experience.
NASCAR C-Packs
For Candy Digital’s NASCAR C-Packs, I was responsible for texturing, rendering, lighting, compositing, and light modeling, ensuring each NFT trading card was visually striking and polished for collectors.
C-Packs were digital collectible packs that, when opened, contained 3 or 5 NASCAR-themed NFT trading cards. My work involved creating realistic materials, refining lighting setups, and optimizing the final renders to enhance the presentation of these dynamic collectibles. I also contributed to compositing, ensuring that all visual elements were seamlessly integrated into the final product.
This project required a blend of artistic precision and technical efficiency, delivering high-quality assets that captured the excitement and energy of NASCAR in a fully digital format.
As part of Candy Digital’s collaboration with Netflix and Hasbro, I played a key role in the design and oversight of the Lite-Brite toy for use in an interactive WEB3 experience tied to the latest season of Stranger Things.
I was responsible for accurate modeling, texturing, shader development, lighting, and rendering of the Lite-Brite and accompanying assets, ensuring they were both visually authentic and optimized for real-time use in the Unity Game Engine.
This WEB3 experience served as an interactive challenge for fans worldwide, where players worked together to solve a series of puzzles using the digital Lite-Brite. My work helped bring this nostalgic toy into the digital realm, maintaining its classic look while integrating seamlessly into a modern gaming experience.

VECNA
For Candy Digital’s Stranger Things Vecna NFT, I contributed to the prototyping of shader effects designed to make Vecna’s veins undulate and move, adding an eerie, organic quality to the character.
Through technical experimentation and shader development, I explored ways to create a real-time, dynamic effect that would enhance the lifelike and sinister appearance of the model. My work in this early prototyping phase helped establish the foundation for the effect, which was later implemented and refined by the creative team responsible for the final product.
This project combined technical problem-solving and artistic vision, pushing the limits of shader-driven animation to bring Vecna to life in a hauntingly immersive NFT experience.
World Series 2022
For Candy Digital’s 2022 MLB World Series NFT Collection, I contributed to several key aspects of the project, including texturing, shader development, VFX, animation, and optimizing the rendering pipeline.
My work involved crafting high-quality textures and materials, ensuring that assets captured the realism and excitement of the World Series. I also helped refine the rendering pipeline, optimizing workflows for efficiency while maintaining a polished final product.
Additionally, I contributed to VFX and animation, adding dynamic visual elements that enhanced the overall presentation of the NFTs. This project combined artistic precision with technical problem-solving, delivering a visually compelling digital collectible experience for baseball fans.
